ISSA/INTERCLEAN is the launch pad for many innovations, a place to spot emerging trends and - above all - see the world’s leading products and services. It is also renowned for networking opportunities.

The 22nd edition of ISSA/INTERCLEAN Amsterdam 2008 has 4,000 square meters more floor space than the last one adding up to almost 30,000 sqm. Since 1967 when the first Interclean was being held, the show has developed into a landmark trade show.

Almost sold-out
The show is almost completely sold out. The truly international character is reflected in the over 600 exhibitors originating from 40 countries. As the leading showcase in the cleaning industry, ISSA/INTERCLEAN is the launch pad for many, many innovations, a place to spot emerging trends and – above all – see the world’s leading products and services.

Your invitees
ISSA/INTERCLEAN Amsterdam is accessible free of charge for trade visitors. You can order invitations via the button “exhibitor login”. New feature for this year is the digital invitation card. This is an invitation that you as exhibitor can customize and send via email to your own database. You have the opportunity to include your company logo, text and select several different languages.

Inside activities:
ISSA/INTERCLEAN Theatre In a theatre on the show floor you can present the latest innovations, products or services, using the latest audio and visual equipment. Interested? mail the projectteam.
Indoor demonstration area
Floor cleaning machines really come to life, competing against each other on the indoor demonstration area, furnished with different types of floor covering truly testing the cleaning effectiveness. Interested? mail the projectteam.

Seminars
Customary, ISSA will be running a series of educational seminars tackling the major issues affecting the cleaning industry today. (Please see visiting, seminar programme)

Innovation Award:
The winner of the prestigious Innovation Award will be presented during the official opening of ISSA/INTERCLEAN Amsterdam 2008. The opening will take place at Tuesday morning 6 May at 12.00 hrs at Room B (free attendance).

Visitor registration is open and if you register now, we will send you your badge and you can walk straight onto the show floor.

Le développement de l'éolien ne correspond pas à un besoin en France


institut_montaigne.JPGPar Vincent Le Biez, ingénieur-élève au Corps de Mines, auteur de l’étude « Eoliennes, nouveau souffle ou vent de folie ? », une contribution au débat public de l’Institut Montaigne, qui remet en cause le développement programmé de l'éolien en France par le récent Grenelle de l’environnement.

Après un démarrage tardif par rapport à ses voisins européens, la France s’est lancée dans un développement massif de l’éolien dans le but d’atteindre près de 10 % de sa consommation nationale d’électricité à l’horizon 2020. Pour cela, la puissance publique a multiplié les aides et les garanties à destination de ce secteur.
