IFAT 2008 is

In 2008, IFAT—the international trade fair for the environmental sector—will revolve around environmental solutions. It will be oriented to the future of environmental technology, focusing on everything from high tech to low tech including comprehensive solution approaches.
Profit from the global diversity of environmental-technology tasks at IFAT. After all, demand for high-tech solutions and machinery is high, but there is also a growing need for customized technologies and island solutions. Customized technologies are considered the key to success both in threshold and industrialized nations. Your concepts and solutions are needed to deal with circumstances that vary from country to country—such as those resulting from national legislation or special climate conditions. Take advantage of the outstanding opportunities that integrated concepts have to offer. Present your exhibits as well as your experience in the form of solution approaches.
New topics such as coastal protection/flood control and waste-to-energy concepts take changing climate conditions and the growing lack of resources into account. IFAT has focused on the overall topic of water for years. Its importance was underscored by the United Nations when it introduced the “Water for Life” decade.

Entre valeurs et croissance, le commerce équitable en question

journaliste. Depuis plusieurs années, il suit l'actualité relative à la mondialisation ainsi qu'aux initiatives contribuant à renouveler
les pratiques économiques. Dans son dernier ouvrage "Entre valeurs et croissance, le commerce équitable en question", paru il y a quelques
jours aux éditions Les Carnets de l'info, il s'interroge sur la crise de croissance du commerce équitable et l'éventuelle dilution de
ses valeurs.
Même si le commerce équitable reste encore marginal au plan national comme au plan mondial, les chiffres attestent d’une croissance soutenue qui résiste assez bien à la bai...
